We all know the series was unfairly cancelled due to a combination of changes behind the scenes, the writers strike and inconsistent continuity.

Below is one possible future the show may have had, had it been re-launched in January 2008, as was planned. We have taken used some of the ideas from the original character synopsis that NBC released, as well trying to drive a consistency in the show as well as continue some of the initial story arcs, whilst also plotting new ones. It's been fun to add specific guest stars to certain episodes as a flavour of how the characters would have been written. We've been careful to check the actors/actress' were not involved in other shows at the time and would have been available to the production team.
